In a relay race, a baton is passed from one runner to another. No matter how fast the first runners were, the race will be lost if the baton is dropped. As parents, we have a very important baton to pass on to our children- that of our beliefs and values. Will our children love their country? Will they be willing to sacrifice their lives for others? Will they look to their Creator for purpose and guidance in all they do? Will they hold His Word as dear as life itself?

Someday, we will all have to stand before the One who gave us our blessings and answer to Him for how we chose to carry our responsibilities.
